The next North Melbourne Market is this Sunday, 24th October, from 10am-5pm, so I thought it was time I uploaded some photos of new items I will have available there. If you are interested in the clothing but can't make it to the market, please contact me.

The pleat front dresses shown here are ranged from size2-3, and are $40 each

The butterfly onesies and guitar rock onesies range from size 0000-0. These are $22 each.

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the North Melbourne Market yesterday. It was a great day and now I have a lot more sewing to do before the October market! Beautiful weather, lots of lovely people coming to chat, and lots of items sold.

Thank you!

I have been a busy busy girl lately, getting ready for Sunday's North Melbourne Market ( http://www.northmelbournemarket.com/ ). Here are some new things I have been working. I have a huge crush on my guitar rock onesies!

These twirly skirts are so cute either alone or with tights in the colder months. The vintage rose skirt is definitely my favourite of these!

I know it is only June, but I decided to put the pictures up of these Christmas skirts also, so you can check them out and keep them in mind for when you do start thinking about Christmas gifts and outfits for this year!

The blue skirt is a size 1.
The grey waisted corduoroy skirt (with blue and brown floral) and the pink waisted skirt are sized 2-3 years, as are the rose and the purple skirts.
The Christmas skirts are both size 2.

These are $30 each.

I just love these bell bottoms! They all have 2 back pockets (the blue floral corduoroy fabric's pockets are made of the same fabric. The blue & red bunnies have light blue pockets made from Japanese fabric. The purple pants - which are straight legged rather than bell bottoms - have pockets made from the same fabric as the cuffs. And the brown corduoroy pants' pockets are in a contrasting red corduoroy).

The bell bottoms are all a size 2, while the straight legged purple pants are a size 3. They have elastic waistbands.

These are $30 each.

More pinafores, but these ones are in a different style. The green one is a vintage fabric, and has a denim back (as you can see from the straps which are crossed over to the front). I think this looks really great!

The green dress and brown dress with gingham love heart are a size 4, while the purple with bird applique is a size 2.

These dresses are $40.

I think I've mentioned before that these pleat front dresses (from a 1960s pattern) are one of my favourite styles. They can be worn alone, or with a long sleeved top and tights.

The red one on the left is made with vintage fabric. The red one on the right has a contrasting butterfly applique on the bottom.

These are both a size 2 and are $40 each.

With stalls booked at the North Melbourne Market on August 22nd, October 24th and December 5th, I have been sewing like a crazy woman lately, building up my stock. So I wanted to post some pictures of some new and current clothes for you all to have a look at. Please let me know what you think!

Due to rising costs of the market stalls, plus fabric prices etc, I have unfortunately had to increase my prices. The increases are minimal, and as most of the items are "one of a kind", many made from vintage patterns or vintage fabrics, you are assured of a unique item for your little one.

These dresses are pinafores with a crossover back. They are all sized 6-12 months (although my girls, being tiny little things, were still wearing them until about 18 months). All of them (except the orange one) are made from vintage fabrics. They are all light fabrics, but can be worn with tights and long sleeved tops and so are suitable for even the cooler months.

These are $38 each.

Bell bottoms!!

So I've been creating some new items this week in readiness for my market stall on Sunday. So, new to my range, are long pants. So far I have made size 3, but can make any kids size. These ones are for girls, due to the fabric, but the same style is suitable to boys as well.

The purple ones are so cute and flowery, and I've folded them over so you can see the pocket on the back.

But I am just loving these brown ones, which I made with the cutest bell bottoms! I've taken a photo of the back view to show the contrasting pockets. I will definitely be making more of these, and my girls will definitely soon be seen about town in large flared trousers!

So, as most of you probably know, I am having a market stall at the North Melbourne market on 28th February from 10am-2pm. I've been sewing up a storm, and thought I'd put up pics of some of my latest creations.

Of course, there are some of my favourites, the pleat front dress. The yellow one is made from vintage material that I was given by my Nanna. The green is the same style, but a newer fabric. Both are in a size 3 and are $35. (Green one has been sold)

Next are some "spin out" skirts (my daughters love these!). The pink & purple one, and the brown & blue pinwale cord floral skirt are both size 2-3, while the blue one is size 1. All are $25.

I have a couple of new onesies, suitable for boys, as well as new "girls" onesies. These are $15 each.

Also $15 is the black "emergency" t-shirt, in a size 3.

Some of my current faves are these great bibs, which are made from a vinyl fabric (so spills can be easily wiped off), with a felt backing. The large bib is great for "older" eaters (1 year old +) as it covers the whole front of them, while the teeny ones are for bubbas. Large are $13, small are $9.

We recently went on a family outing to the Zoo. Unfortunately we were a week too early to see the new baby elephant, but the girls still had a great time looking at all of the other animals. Looking at the photos later, I realised that we'd had a bit of a Lauralai day too, with all 3 of us girls dressed in handmade Lauralai clothes - the girls in their pleat front dresses (which finally fit them!), and me in my own twirly skirt.

New blankets- boy style

The green with pale spots and the green with white stars are both flannelette, as is the navy with blue background & large coloured spots.
The 2 whale print blankets & the alphabet blanket are all large fleece blankets.
